Here’s a breakdown of the active ingredients:
KOJIC ACID Kojic Acid is an organic compound proven to prevent melanin production. Tranexamic Acid really enhances the effects of Kojic Acid providing faster results than either could on their own. Kojic Acid is an antioxidant as well as an anti-ageing ingredient. There’s 3% in our formulation.
TRANEXAMIC ACID The new kid on the block for skin brightening and lightening. Tranexamic Acid (TXA) a synthetic analogue of Lysine, a peptide proven to inhibit inflammation and melanin formation. This is the best and only form of Tranexamic Acid that should be used for skin brightening creams and serums. Regular daily use of Tranexamic Acid has been proven to fade discolouration, fade acne scars, lighten dark circles, brighten skin and even skin tone. Best results are seen after a few weeks of continuous use. There’s 5% in our formulation.
VITAMIN B3 (NIACINAMIDE)
Niacinamide better known as Vitamin B3 works with the natural substances in your skin. It can help minimize enlarged pores, help with uneven skin tone, soften fine lines, and strengthen the skin.
ALPHA-TOCOPHEROL Alpha-Tocopherol, also known as Vitamin E, is nourishing to the skin.
Avoid using this cream with other strong acids to avoid skin irritation.
Apply once or twice a day as required. If you have sensitive skin, start by applying just once a day, preferably at night, if the cream is too strong, use twice per week. You can gradually build up to once a day application, then when your skin becomes used to the cream, you may be able to apply twice per day.
A tingling feeling may occur on application due to the ingredients.
Kojic & Tranexamic Acid formulations are a gradual process which takes commitment to see results. Most users can see changes within 2 to 4 weeks of using the cream. Regular application is important to inhibit the production of melanin.
Always do a patch test before full application.
Always apply SPF on top of this cream when going outdoors.

Skin will be more sensitive to direct sunlight when using this product. An additional sunscreen of at least SPF15 to SPF30 is strongly advised before going outdoors, to protect skin from sun damage.
